BENQI🔺 BenqiFinance IGNITE is in its own league.🔥 H∀🔺 breaks it down.👇 Ignite introduces PAYG, which allows devs/users to rent all the AVAX needed to spin up a validator, for a fixed fee. I’d say that this is a paradigm shift akin to on-premise vs cloud compute. Subnets are now an OPEX consideration instead of CAPEX. By lowering the barrier to subnets, it allows for plenty of opportunity for experimentation as well. From a cost perspective, Ignite PAYG costs 4 AVAX per week vs $80k upfront normally. GGP Minipools: halves the required amount of AVAX needed to run a validator + 100 AVAX in GGP as collateral. This is sustained via GGP incentives. Ignite also has minipools, but reduces the minimum stake to 500 AVAX.
