As mentioned in the Alexonomics, one of the goals of the ALEX DeFi is Progressive Governance Decentralization, which means the founding team increasingly relinquishes control over time in a steady and gradual steps, providing the community to suggest and make a collective decision on what is best for the ALEX Ecosystem.
With the Governance forum's introduction, Alexians can discuss and share ideas among other Alexian in a lengthy discussion format, then open votes on suggestions or IDO listing recommendations, etc. As time goes on with the platform becoming more mature, expect to see more things to be voted on via the governance process.
